My Journey into Launching my Window Washing Company and Designing Its Website – Kigud.nu

Hey everyone, it’s Alex here! I wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Recently, I’ve embarked on a new adventure by starting my own window washing company. As a webdesigner, I knew I had the skills to create a website and handle the marketing aspects of the business, but I’ve learned so much more along the way.

One of the most interesting challenges I faced was setting up a website that not only looks great but is also easy for me to maintain and update regularly. It’s crucial to have a site that provides value to potential clients and showcases the services we offer. During this process, I discovered some cool techniques for quickly setting up a website that meets these requirements.

Another exciting aspect of this journey has been learning how to host the website on my own server at home. It’s important to ensure that the site is secure enough to be accessible on the public web, and I’m proud to say I’ve figured out how to do just that. Although my personal blog, kigud.nu, isn’t hosted on my local server just yet, I’m planning to make the move as soon as my current hosting plan ends.

As I continue to develop my window washing business, I’m eager to see how the website will help generate new leads and grow over time. I’m also experimenting with blogging on the site to see if it attracts more potential customers. If that doesn’t work out as planned, I may need to explore other marketing strategies, like distributing flyers in the local community.

Throughout this process, I’ve realized that starting a business and creating a website for it is not just about the technical aspects – it’s also a personal journey of growth and learning. I’m excited to see where this adventure takes me and to share more insights with you all along the way.

Thanks for reading, and following along on my digital and now more blue collar journey!

Best, Alex
